  • Promotes horticultural bench shows through the judges training program and the judging honorarium reimbursement
  • Maintains records of Alberta's horticultural history
HORTICULTURAL ATTRACTIONS IN ALBERTA
Public gardens draw visitors from near and far. In Alberta we have a diverse collection of horticultural attractions, some well known and some hidden gems.  For some visitors they are simply a pleasant walk in a park.  Public Gardens also carry out research, test plant hardiness, demonstrate best planting practices, preserve historic specimens, showcase new introductions, and offer educational programs. Check out the Alberta Horticultural Association website to learn about some of the province's horticultural attractions. Tell us about your favourite public gardens!
