About Us

Through the generosity and vision of Ann and Sandy Cross, the ASCCA is dedicated to present and future generations of Albertans as a model of conservation based land management and education. The commitment of Ann and Sandy to the land and wildlife stand as a testament of ecological vision and leadership for all to seek to emulate.
The Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area is a 4,800 acre day use natural area and nocturnal preserve. Located just southwest of the city of Calgary. Includes 20 km of interpretive trails enjoyed by thousands of hikers each year.  Open year-round to hiking and snowshoeing. We ask all visitors to register at our Welcome Kiosk or online using our booking form and use our Area Guidelines to limit impact on habitat.
