Our garden membership is made up of a number of familes in Montgomery. It is communally maintained, and we all share in the harvest—we do not have individual plots. The garden is in a fenced 100x70 ft area. We organize regular work bees so members can socialize and learn from each other. We try to plan at least one larger garden event during the season. We ask that our members put in at least 2 hours of work per month at the garden.There is a playground next to the garden, so it's a great place for families with young kids.
The garden has fruit trees and shrubs: sour cherry, pear, hascaps, saskatoon, currant (red/white, black).
